Hey y’all! I’m Ann Gray Hardy, and I’m so happy you’ve found your way to stitchfête!

I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, where southern embroidery was a way of life. After marrying the love of my life and biggest supporter, William, in 2023, I wanted to incorporate my own artistry into our wedding. I hand-embroidered custom designs for my bridal party, my family, and for William and myself—and I absolutely loved the process. That’s when I realized I wanted to turn this passion into something bigger.

In February 2024, I started stitchfête from my basement in Birmingham, Alabama, with a dream to create custom embroidery that celebrates life’s big and small moments. With a degree in Graphic Design and five years of experience in custom apparel, I poured my heart into each design. What started as a fun creative project soon became much more than I ever imagined.

Something you might not know—I’m a one-woman show! Every piece, from design to stitch to packaging, is made by me, with so much love and care. “Fête” means celebration in French and it is my mission to create custom embroidery for all of the celebrations in your life, no matter how big or small. I am truly honored by everyone that trusts me to take part in the special moments of their lives by creating unique details. It is my goal with every design that you have a physical manifestation of memories that will last forever!
